The contract was signed by MD Engineering, a joint venture between Mitsui Shipbuilding and Daihatsu Diesel.
The "MD-G Series" jointly developed by the two companies consists of medium-sized "MD20G" and large-scale "MD36G" (power is 800~8000kW). The two Chinese companies that signed the contract each year produce hundreds of mainframe accessory companies.
